Proverbs 12:4
A virtuous woman is a crown to her husband.
A wife is a made material, not born material. Wife skills are different from woman skills. You are born female, but wife skills are not natural but learned; these can only be obtained through the renewing of your mind as you grow in your relationship with your heavenly father.

The word of God says that when a man finds a wife, he is blessed and has favour with the Lord. Therefore, when a righteous man finds a girlfriend or mistress he has not found a good thing; he needs a wife not a female to find favour with the Lord. When we look at Proverbs 12:4 it says that a virtuous woman is a crown to her husband.
So what is the wife’s ultimate purpose?
According to 1st Corinthians 7:34:

“In the same way, a woman who is no longer married or has never been married can be devoted to the Lord and holy in body and in spirit. But a married woman has to think about her earthly responsibilities and how to please her husband”.
God gave us the description of helpmate; we the females are to support our husbands as they follow God’s direction. That is why it is crucial we submit to the right man. As we grow in our relationship with Jesus, we will be able to make the right choice about which man we submit to. How will we know this? Well, the man we chose to support and nurture will look like Jesus, (in character, nature, lifestyle and expression) and because of our close relationship with God, the Holy Spirit will guide us in this choice. Of course, it is also crucial to look for the fruits of the spirit but ultimately the man we submit to will be Christ-like.

In wifehood, you become responsible for incubating the destiny of your husband ensuring that he succeeds. Your husband’s responsibility is different, he is meant to follow God. A woman supports a man who follows God.

Your role within the partnership is to incubate, nurture and multiply. As a wife, you will need to listen to God and understand what God’s perspective is.
